How can I overcome my disgust of roaches?

I love all living creatures... except roaches. I don't want to torture them and would prefer to find a way to give them q quick kill however I can barely look at one, let alone kill it. Having woken up in the middle of the night to find one taking a stroll on my arm has left me with a horrible phobia of them. My mom would always tell me that they are afraid of people and that kept me sane until that one night. A couple of days later I found a huge one in my bathroom. As a result, I locked the bathroom placing a towel under the door and used my next door neighbors bathroom throughout the day until my husband came home to kill it. I literally freeze whenever I see one and I get this strange numbness on the base of my neck so yeah, I have a real phobia. I have a dog so placing any sprays in areas where she can get to it is out. I keep seeing some kind of electric sonar pest repellents that you stick in a socket. Do they do anything? I spray roach repellent along the outer side of my balconies, the wall and the upper outside balcony door frames which helps as I find some creepy crawlers dead in the morning. I doubt dogs eat roaches... or at least I hope not. We live near a woody hillside and they come in from there. Any ideas, suggestions? Thank you.

Well yeah. I get more irritated by that than with someone being and a$$ hole. It is like they are trying to prove they are better than me on some level. Red streaks down my leg?

So not asking for medical attention, just wondering if anyone might have a thought. About 20 years ago, I broke all the blood vessels in my knee above my calf playing soccer - have had varicose (sp) veins ever since. This weekend I was riding my motorcyle in shorts & the next day my leg was killing me. At first I thought I got a burn, but it was more like a bruise, only red - it wasn't or puffed up like a burn would be. So today the red streak is almost down to my ankle - it is about 2" wide & 8" long, and the part that hurts has traveled down towards my ankle. So now I am wondering if I maybe got bit by something, but there are no marks. I am getting a new tattoo tomorrow on this same leg, and now I am wondering if I should get this checked out before I introduce something new into my bloodstream....any doc's out there with an idea?? I've been sick for a bit over 2 weeks now and I'm really really tired of being sick. It started out as just general lethargy and muscle pain, then it morphed into flu like conditons. I was running outrageuous fevers and the next minute I would get chills. I also had the general stuffiness, congestion, runny nose, sore throat adn that kind of thing. The second week I started to have extreme nausea and vomiting. I haven't been able to actually digest anything for over a week now. I actually thought I was getting better and then started vomiting again. I don't have any idea what's wrong ,but I really want this to be over. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow. I was there last week , but they didn't help. I was tested for the flu, strep, and mono. They all came up negative.

Since nobody loves her yet. You can simply return it to the breeder and explain that you dont think she is getting. Fair life. If you don't want to go with that. Let me begin by saying the amount of space needed isn't determined by mere size. A Maltese and a jack russel will both get around 12-15 pounds. But a jack russel will need much much more room than a Maltese. It depends slot on what type of dog you have gotten. Either way you have GOT to walk a dog no matter color shape or size at least twice a day. For the accidents I'll tell you what we did. Our pups stay inside from the time they are born until about a year when they can fend coyotes, coons etc away. Then they are put outside to roam. We bought puppy pads from walmart. They have a urine smell to them. (don't worry about smelling up the house only the dog can smell it) they have a plastic backing and cotton front so doesn't leak through. You can jus sitthe puppy in it a few days an they learn. I haven't had a dog that didn't learn the puppy pads. Okay! For the family thing. Honey you haven't had her 2 weeks. Of course the cats and toddler aren't going to be sure of her. Your baby has t ever dealt with dogs living with him. I'm sure everybody has gone through that experience. Dogs are great for kids. They teach responsibility, love and loyalty. What better wayto teach your son to pick up than having a puppy ruin his toys. The cats will get used to him and start playing. My fianc�'s cat took about 3 weeks to begin playing. She also hid for awhile before becoming comfortable. The decision is ultimately up to you. What do you have the energy and patience for. Puppies are alot of work. Do not give this dog an unfair life because you can't take care of it. If you want the companionship of adog but can't handle a puppy perhaps get a 6-12 month old that's a little calmer. You still get that puppy stage but you don't have to deal with chewing and potty training. Good luck!

An alternative is to skip the coconut milk and and regular rum and blend the bananas with 3 oz Malibu flavored rum and 3 oz pineapple juice. Well it has been my lifelong dream to be part of air ault of the 101st airborne division. The one thing i was really wondering was if infantry was the main backbone behind this division. How am I charged with Cl 4 Felonies and what will happen?

I was out cruising around with some friends one night and they pulled into a abandoned building where a a gas station used to be. We went inside and they began talking about lighting the place on fire. I immediately left the building and demanded that they take me home. (15 miles from where I live). They exited the building a while after me with the place ablaze. They then drove across the river and entered a second building and lit it on fire while I remained in the car pleading with them to take me home. They finally took me home and then returned to the scene to watch the fire trucks put the buildings out. One of the kids name was brought up later after he went bragging and was convicted and sentenced. He served three months in prison before the states attorney offered him a letter granting immunity if he told what happened at the buildings. I am now being charged with burglary (cl 4), arson (cl 4), and two aiding and abiding to arson (cl 4). Do these charges hold any ground? What did it mean when he was offered immunity? What do you recommend? I was questioned twice about it and both times I respectfully refused to be questioned.

My boyfriend and I have been dating for about a year and a half now and he has never seemed to have a problem with me being an extreme animal lover til recently.I moved in with him in January and I brought my yorkie with me. He acts like he absolutely loves him and everything and we have a parrot too. Now he is pitching a fit and is making me sell my bird. The thing is he was talking about wanting to get another dog soon and then when I started looking into breeders and doing research he says no! you cant have anymore animals. just the yorkie and then he says he would be happier if there were no pets at all. Mirena strings encased in cervical tissue?

So during my colposcopy my doctor said she was seeing something she has never seen before and it is not listed as a side effect. The cervical tissue has grown over and basically encased the strings of the Mirena IUD. I have to see a gynocologist to have further tests done and see how they are going to fix it. My rabbit is usually a pretty active little guy, well sorta. When I enter the room he usually greets me at the front of his cage. Well today when I got home from work he wasn't there to greet me. Anyways I checked on him a couple hours later and he was moved to a new spot by his food dish where he was slightly shivering, enough to catch my eye anyways. My son is allergic to the flu vaccine I need some advice?

I just turned 21, When I was a kid I was diagnosed with both ADHA, and dyslexia. I was too poor to get proper treatment, I never saw a doctor after the I was diagnosed. Well, I have to agree with you about having new found freedom. "No gym cl" did not apply to me, and cafeteria food got old after the third week. The things that stood out the most to me in college was meeting my boyfriend, whom later became my fiance` and we are still together, gaining knowledge that has led me on a path to a wonderful career ahead of me- going to work is actually enjoyable, and the most exciting thing was graduation- all the hard work paid off!

Whats wrong with my face?

so my eyes feel dry sometimes alot of times they get watery,i have dark circles.i get like bipolar acne some pimples go away only for them to develop again somewhere else on my face or return to the same spot.whenever i take a shower i try to avoid facial contact with the water because for some reason the tinniest amount of water drys it out.my face itches like all the time not bad but if i don't itch my face it'll get worse and it ll feel like theirs a piece of hair their but theirs not.right next to my nose underneath my eyes there are these red spots almost like lines like that part of my face is infected.their are 3 little black and white dots in those spots.Oh not to mention the fact that if i do get pimples sometimes this white flaky **** will appear around them or somewhere else on my face.If you can please answer me why is this happening?Oh and their are also like abunch of these black dots on my nose in a group can't really see them but they get on my nerves as well.Damn my whole face just feels infected with something.

How to find the fishing holes in the middle of a lake and target bigger b!?

I live on a semi small lake (about 1 mile of shorline all around) and ive been b fishing this lake for a few years now. there is no structure or vegetation in this lake due to carp that keep the lake clean so it looks nice so its basically a semi sandy bottom for what i know of. I fish off a paddle boat and dont have a fish finder. The problem is that this lake is not overfished at all but has tons of small b. On a good morning fishing from 7 to 9 i can catch 12 plus b all weighing less than a pound. When I catch a good bit of b in one time i usually dont fish the lake for a week or so so the lake doesnt get overfished because im basically the only one that fishes it seriously. I know I need to use bigger lures but thats not the problem. The problem is that i know there is some kind of hole or structure in the middle of the lake somewhere where all the big b are hiding, I just want to find out any secrets to targeting these holes without a fish finder. Ive talked to older neighbors that used to fish this lake 12 years ago and they caught nothing but 5, 6 pound bass and the biggest weighing 12lb. The neighbor that I talked to still thinks the lake is full of the bigger bass but they have plenty to feed on due to all the half a pound bass that inhabit the lake. Ive used live bait of different kinds and caught a few 2 pounders but Im more of a tournament bass fishing person and am not interested going the live bait way so if you have some kind of idea to target where the hell these bass are hiding please let me know. thanks

I quit WOTLK about 2-3 months into it. I had a level 80 warrior, 80 rogue, 80 paladin, and a 72 hunter. My warrior was arms/fury, rogue was combat/asination, my paladin was protection/retribution, and my hunter was beast mastery/survival. All my level 80s were geared for 25 mans and my paladin was geared for 40 mans. I could pull around 2.5 - 2.8k with my warrior, 2.6 - 2.9k with my rogue, and 2.8 - 3.1k depending on what kind of day I was having. Since I haven't been on WoW in awhile I was wondering which certain cl/spec combos were dominant in the dps category. Not to worried about tanking until I get back into playing.

Illegal Immigration "us and them" mentality?

Went to the grocery store the other day. Kellog's was offering a free kitchen towel with a coupon. I guess it was if you bought something, you get the towel. I wouldn't know because the coupon was in Spanish. The towel had a Spanish phrase on it. I looked around for the English version of this towel. They did not have it. Anyway, my point is, when companies do stuff like this, they create a separation. If we don't encourage people to learn English, then we still live in separate communities (which we do - this was in a primarily Hispanic neighborhood, but caucasians shop there, too)! So we aren't offered the towel? I thought it was cute, the colors matched my kitchen. I wanted one! If we are all supposed to get along and if we want to wipe out racism, shouldn't we take steps toward helping people imilate? Dog who is given nothing but junk food!?

My uncle has 2 dogs, a German Sheppard Mix & a Beagle, and all he feeds them is JUNK FOOD. They havn't had actual dog food in a looong time. It makes me so mad because this has got to be horrible for them. An average day goes like this: pancakes and bacon for breakfast, lollypops and ice cream as a treat, and pizza or cheese burgers for dinner. Food like this, day in and day out! I want to know what will happen if he keeps doing this because I love these dogs. It has to many cards and no strategy. You also have a lot of high level monsters that are hard to summon. Remember, you should only have about 20 monsters, 15 spells, and 5 traps. Take out cards that you think don't help you. You have Royal Decree but then you have 13 traps? You have good cards but it looks like you crammed them all into one deck. Try adding cards that support each other.

I don't think many people here would be able to give you proper advice in this area. A doctor will be able to perform tests if necessary to see why you are gaining fat there instead of on your body. It may be one of your glands isn't working properly and you may require a short period of medication just to correct it. The body can do some pretty strange things, but please don't panic and think something is seriously wrong with you. What would be a good flooring type for the kitchen/familyroom?

i would do tile in the kitchen..wood and any kind of wood in a kitchen is just a bad idea because of the water and potential damage that could result...i would separate them and we actually saw a house this year when we were looking for our house...that had cherry wood in the living room and dining room and tile in the kitchen...it was one huge open floor plan..so i think it could be done..split it down the middle...you can always paint wood paneling...and if you dont want any of the four things you have listed..there really isnt anything else to pick from unless you want concrete

Apidexin -safe? -effective?

Okay I know diet pills aren't the smartest/safest/most reliable way to lose weight, traditionally, and that I should just exercise and eat right. Having said that, I would really like to try this pill I found called Apidexin. Instead of just being a weight loss pill (read: diuretic), it's been called a fat loss pill (sounds awesome!). The side effects don't look too bad and while the pill itself hasn't been tested, all the ingredients have been. I read a lot of positive reviews and I really want to try it, but of course I needed to take to yahoo answers before I placed my order (ha). Any experiences had with Apidexin (good or bad)?? Thanks!

How to make worming easier?

Yesterday my friend and I had to worm all the horses (expect the pasture horses, they got theirs when their feet were done) at my trainers barn (she was busy getting stuff ready for Nationals). It took us nearly 2 hours to do (granted there are over 50 horses) because with some of them it took two of use to catch the horse and then hold it still so we could get the wormer in their mouth. Now not all of these horses are hard to handle (most are pretty easy) but they know what the wormer looks and smells like and they run away from it. Some of them we could get by one person holding their tail (to keep them from backing up) and the other by using the pressure points right by the chin (not all needed this and some even knew that trick so it didn't work). With some we even had to use a rope either around their neck or turn it into a makeshift halter to keep them from throwing their head (one gelding had to have his ear held because we tried everything else and with a halter he was picking us up off the ground lifting his head and he is much taller than us). One mare just kept running circles in her pen (she thankfully gave up once we turned the rope into a halter and she struggled for a sec then realized we had beat her). Next time this needs done is there any way to make it easier on us and the horses? I really don't want to use the ear as a twitch again but it seemed to be the only thing that worked with two of them (didn't hold it tight but enough that they knew don't throw your head).

How would you deal with my mother-in-law?

My mother-in-law has a pet poodle that she takes with her wherever she goes - including to our home when she stays with us. Over the years I've had some concerns about hosting this dog in the same house as my young kids since he would display hostility toward them. So for a time, she wouldn't visit. Now the dog is aged - blind and deaf and doesn't react to anything - so he's harmless as a fly but it turns out he's incontinent. He's been incontinent on my bedroom rug, my new berber carpet in the basement, and who knows where else. . . When I caught MIL cleaning up after him on a recent visit she told me "it's no big deal. He does this all the time at home and I just clean it up". Now is it just me or would you not think that maybe I have some right to be upset? We are not pet owners, and if my own children had a pee on the rug I would be upset - let alone another persons' animal!! Likewise, if one of my kids had an accident on her rug, I wouldn't blow it off - I'd apologize and tell her I'd be sure that it wouldn't happen again. This is causing problems for me in terms of in-law relations and with the holidays coming up and the plans to host them at my house, I'm becoming less and less hospitable and it's affecting how I feel toward my MIL in general. How do I deal with this diplomatically?
