Dose anyone out here know anything about Pontiac’s.?

I have a 1975 400 engine that was running very good but now it has a burnt vale in the number 8 a 5 cylinder. I have heads from a 70 Pontiac 400 will the heads fit and will they work or will the chamber be too small for the 75 engine.
