Atheists,is mud+time+chance+natural events gave rise to living things,scientists,technology and civilizations?

I have seen studies that indicated it takes 32 generations to make a discernible mutation. So add that to your information and it seems that significant and sustainable evolution itself would be pretty difficult/against the odds except for rapidly producing life forms. (The white knight moth is a good example of a rapidly producing life form that mutated/evolved in our life time)
