How do I automatically chane the ranges in a long formula in Excel?

For instance, I have formula =COUNTIF(D4:AG4,"C")+COUNTIF(D4:AG4,"PC"… and I want to change the range to D4:AE4 on all of the different countifs. Is there way to do this without doing it manually?
