Depending on the temperature and concentration of the solution, You could get an unsaturated solution, a saturated solution, or a super saturated solution. Some of the sodium nitrate might precipitate. You could use methanol, Vodka, and/or acetone to lower the freezing point of water. You could also mix Vodka and mountain dew and call it antifreeze.
