Should my dog be on a diuretic? She has heart problems and is already on an ACE inhibitor...?

If she is coughing or the vet hears fluid in her chest (an x-ray can confirm this) then yes she needs to be on furosemide or spironolactone. Not all dogs with heart problems need a diuretic. Please talk to your vet.
