I had asthma in CA as a kid .I grew out of it then moved to NY.I moved back and its acting up again.Is it CA?

i Joined the military and lived mostly on the east coast and had no problem with my asthma.As a kid i had it when i lived in central CA.I just got relocated to san bernardino county.I feel short of breath and a little weezy now.Do u think its living in CA,maybe the elevation change,or am i just out of shape.
